Been a While, but I'm Back

So...

It has been several weeks since my last post.

I have a really good excuse. :)

But not one that really covers the three weeks or so.

I had lithotripsy to break up a kidney stone that had stopped midway through my ureter. What fun!

Then I really didn't feel like concerning myself with the specifics of my diet -- calories. And I haven't made it to the gym in weeks as well.

I hope to get back to the gym tomorrow.

Now, I did "workout" on the Wii with the Wii Fit program. I spent 20 minutes on the "bike ride". It was kind of fun. Anyway, I hope to get to the real gym tomorrow for a "real" workout.

I'm counting calories today, or at least staying aware of them.


Here we go with the calorie count:

For breakfast I had:

polsa kielbasa 2 oz. 170


I had a very late lunch. I stopped at Fresh Market and got a spicy roll combo of sushi.
I looked up the calories...

Sushi (10 pieces -- not all 12) 370

I brought it home and had about 5 Doritos. 70

I also had a few "Danish cookies" in a tin (about 5 in all) which works out to about 210

Oh and I had about a tablespoon of chocolate chips 70

And I also grabbed a few croutons which works out to... 10

Dinner was nice.

We had taco salad... actually, I had a wrap or burrito and taco salad, total came to 318.

For dessert, I fixed myself a hybrid smoothie. It had banana, strawberry, blueberry, peach, vanilla ice cream, yogurt and milk in it. Total calories for it? 311

So, my daily total... [duh duh duh duh....]

Pretty good I think.

Over the last few weeks, I've actually lost weight, so we're still on our path towards our goal.
